Federal Courts cases, comments and questions
Redish H.M.,With this edition, we welcome the insights and perspectives of two new authors, both established Federal Courts scholars. As always, we have kept the book fresh and up to date by incorporating new cases and new scholarship. This edition includes two new Supreme Court cases (Rucho v. Common Cause and Edwards u. Vannoy) as principal cases, and dozens of Supreme Court and lower court cases as Note cases. We have streamlined some chapters by cutting back on older cases and doctrines, and added additional new material on topics such as standing in the absence of adverse parties and current questions regarding the Bivens doctrine. Overall, we hope the book remains both teachable and stimulating. Once again, we thank our families for their continuing support.

Administrative procedure and practice problrms and cases
Funk F.W.,Seventeen years ago we published the first edition of this casebook because we believed that, although there were several different and some other excellent administrative law casebooks, none focused on administrative law practice. Yet it was administrative law practice that each of us had found exciting and fun, a reaction quite common among other practitioners of administrative law. However, this was hardly the reaction most students had with respect to their course on administrative law. Perhaps, we thought, by focusing the book on practice we could both fill a pedagogical need and enliven the law school administrative law course for students at the same time.

Introduction to Criminal justice
Rennison C.M,This edition of Introduction to Criminal Justice: Systems, Diversity, and Change rep- resents a new and exciting adventure that explores uncharted territories and tech- nologies that will give you more insight about offenders and victimization. The book is designed to widen your perspective and challenge how you think about crime. This textbook and associated course is created to offer you the same sense of excitement and passion that has inspired our interest in the criminal justice sys- tem. Historical, contemporary, and, at times, controversial coverage of the crim- inal justice system represents subject matter that goes beyond the mundane in your college studies. The actual world of policing, corrections, and courts can be far more enticing than what is portrayed on the news or fictional crime shows. The real world of policy and how it impacts both the criminal justice system and everyone in society is shared. This textbook will ignite your interest in criminal justice and the wide variety of topics related to moral, ethical, and practical situa- tions that a large percentage of the population face daily.

The proof
Schauer F.,IN THE AGE OF FAKE NEWS, trust and truth are hard to come by. Blatantly and shamelessly, pub- lic figures deceive us by abusing what sounds like ev- idence. Preeminent legal theorist Frederick Schauer proposes correctives, drawing on centuries of inquiry into the nature of evidence. Evidence is the basis of how we know what we think we know, but evidence is no simple thing. Ev- idence that counts in, say, the policymaking context is different from evidence that stands up in court. Law, science, historical scholarship, public and private decision making-all rely on different standards of evidence. Exploring diverse terrain including vaccine and food safety, election-fraud claims, the January 2021 events at the US Capitol, the reliability of ex- perts and eyewitnesses, climate science, art authen- tication, and even astrology, The Proof develops fresh insights into the challenge of reaching the truth.

Administrative law and Process
Levin R.M,We join in dedicating this edition to the late Professor Ernest Gellhorn, the author of the first edition of Administrative Law and Process in a Nutshell and co-author of editions 2 through 5, before his premature death in 2005. Not surprisingly, much of the content of this edition can be traced to Ernie's substantive acumen and his habitual clarity of expression.
