Изложены способы обогащения урановых руд и аппаратурное оформление процессов обогащения. Большое внимание уделено теории и практике процессов выщелачивания урана из руд. Особое внимание уделено прогрессивным геотехнологическим способам добычи урана - процессам кучного и подземного выщелачивания. Детально изложены прогрессивные методы сорбционной и экстракционной технологии переработки урановых растворов. Отдельно освещены вопросы фторидной технологии урана, разделения изотопов и получения металлического урана. Технологические вопросы разбираются на основе физико-химических закономерностей изучаемых процессов, современных термодинамических и кинетических воззрений, а также положений химии координационных соединений.
