Syntax der deutschen Sprache
Das vorliegende Buch soll einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Bereiche der deutschen Syntax geben. Die ersten Kapitel zeigen die syntaktisch relevanten Strukturzüge der deutschen Sprache auf, führen an syntaktische Fragestellungen heran und entwickeln ein konsistentes Beschreibungsmodell. Die darauf folgenden Abschnitte behandeln ausführlich die einzelnen Module des deutschen Satzbaus. Theoretische und empirische Zugänge halten sich dabei die Waage, der aktuellen Forschung und den sogenannten Fakten - die immer erst durch die Sehweise des Syntaktikers zu solchen werden - wird gleichermaßen Rechnung getragen. Das gewählte Modell ist das dependenzgrammatische. Es versteht sich von selbst, dass in dieses Modell auch Beschreibungsansätze zu integrieren waren, die außerhalb der Dependenzgrammatik entwickelt worden sind. Dies sind in erster Linie Konzeptionen der generativen Schule und solche pragmatischer Forschungsrichtungen.
