Издание книги необходимо не только в связи с ростом практического значения геоморфологии и отсутствием соответствую- щих учебных пособий, но и потому, что в геоморфологической науке заметно усилились тенденции к ее дифференциации. A few years ago I was an undergraduate physics major at the University of Texas at Austin.
