The study guide has been prepared in accordance with the curriculum for the discipline "Public service" for undergraduate students in the direction of 5240100-Jurisprudence: public and legal activities. The study guide discusses the general characteristics of the public service in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the legal status of public servants. It covers the issues of admission to the public service, filling government positions, attestation of public servants, promotion of civil officials, rotation of public servants, application of incentive measures and their liability, as well as the grounds for termination of public service.
